There’s so much to tell you I hardly know where to begin…
ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION
Hard to believe, but JOOLZ will mark its first full year on May 9th. We’re inviting you to celebrate with us by having an Anniversary Sale, right before Mother’s Day. We look forward to showing you all the new inventory that’s come in during the past few weeks.
LOTS OF NEW INVENTORY
I now know the UPS guy by his first name…Jay. He’s been ringing the doorbell just about every other day as new inventory has been coming in, inventory from both new and familiar artists. We have contemporary textured silver and bi-metal earrings from Reiko Ishiyama (New York), new chunky resin and cotton ball necklaces from Abra Gorby (Pennsylvania), crocheted fine silver pieces from Randi Chervitz (Missouri), sparkling glass jewelry from Jane Barthelemy (Oregon), fun pieces made of new and vintage buttons from Joan Sample (Wisconsin), a new selection of seaglass jewelry from Carol and Mark Hall (Pennsylvania), gorgeous sterling silver neck collars, pins and earrings from Deborah Richardson (Massachusetts), summery blue Mother of Pearl bead pieces from Deb Panish (Maine) and eye-catching silver and pearl creations from Rebecca McNerney (Arizona).

FIRST TRIP TO LAS VEGAS!
My daughter, Kate, and I met in Vegas for the second annual ACRE (American Craft Retailers Expo) and to enjoy a girls’ weekend together. Kate’s a veteran Vegas visitor and was a terrific tour guide. We watched the Bellagio fountains from our room, saw two shows and ate well all over town. Big gambler that I am, I bet $20 and came home with $30. At least I didn’t tank!
I gathered lots of info at the show and have several new artists waiting in the wings. We’re running into a space crunch at the shop and as soon as some of the current inventory finds new homes, we’ll bring in some more fabulous pieces.
NEW HOURS
It’s (almost) summertime and we’re changing our hours to expand into Friday nights and Sundays. Here’s the plan:
Beginning May 1st:
Wednesday – Saturday 10am to 5pm
Friday til 7pm
Beginning June 1st we’ll add Sundays from noon to 4pm.
We’ve had an exhilarating, exciting, excellent first year. Here’s to the second one!
