THE LATEST FROM JOOLZ...

Dear Friends,

The first two months in our new location have been busy and exciting and I’m happy to say the new store has been very well received. We’ve had lots of compliments on the interior design and being in a busier location has brought us many new walk-in customers. In fact, April was our best month since December 2008. In order to keep up with all this increased activity, we have several exciting news flashes for you….

NEW JOOLZ EMPLOYEE
We’ve welcomed Alice Noble to the JOOLZ staff. Suzanne and I are delighted to have another member of the team and know you will enjoy meeting Alice when you come to the store. Alice has had a long career in retail, having worked at Sibley’s, B. Forman’s and McCurdy’s in Rochester. Most recently she was the 15-year manager of Barnswallow, a high-end gift store in Rochester that closed last year when the owner relocated to Connecticut. We’re delighted to have someone with Alice’s high standard of customer service as part of the JOOLZ family and we know you’ll make her welcome.

EXPANDED HOURS
Having an additional staff person means we can expand our hours. Our new summer hours will take effect on Sunday, June 13:

10am – 5pm: Tuesday – Saturday
11am – 3pm: Sunday
Closed Monday

CABLE TV ADVERTISING
We recently filmed an ad for Time Warner, which will be shown in the Finger Lakes area. Sheri, our producer & director, did a great job putting it together and we think it tells our story well. Unfortunately, we live in such a rural location that we can’t get cable at our house, so I’m depending on you all to spread the word. If it’s a success in our area, we’ll consider running it in Rochester, too. Here’s your own sneak peek (it may take a few seconds to play–be sure to turn up your sound):

NEW INVENTORY
We’re constantly bringing in new inventory, including sterling silver, copper and brass cuff bracelets from new JOOLZ artist Ilhan Marco Arsan, from Buffalo:
