THE LATEST FROM JOOLZ...
September 2009

It's been a busy summer (we know it was summer because the calendar said so – around here you really couldn't tell from the weather) ...lots of visitors, successive months when we beat last year’s sales numbers, almost constant events and festivals in Canandaigua and new adventures:

• we launched the online store;
• we told the story The Birth of a Business: JOOLZ, from concept to delivery to two separate audiences (and learned how to create a PowerPoint presentation along the way);
• we grabbed lots of inventory and set up shop at the Thompson Hospital Guild’s annual fashion show boutiques;
• and we hired another employee, my former neighbor, Jill, who will help us with special events.

Now we're heading into fall and planning ahead for holiday inventory. We brought in new work from New York City artist Elizabeth Garvin, including these sparkly double hoop earrings – sterling silver and CZ's:



This fun Venetian glass necklace from Oregon artist Jane Barthelemy has already been purchased for a Christmas gift:
