The holiday marathon has begun and it’s a challenge to find enough hours in the day. We had lots of visitors during our Art Walk and Holiday Open House weekends in November and we’ve continued to see a steady stream of visitors since Thanksgiving weekend. Working in 14K yellow and white gold, Craig uses vibrantly colored stones in his joolz. We have earrings, rings, pins and pendants from Craig, including the following:

TAYSHA PALMER – CANANDAIGUA, NEW YORK
Transplanted Canadian Taysha Palmer now lives in Canandaigua and approached me about carrying her work at JOOLZ. She uses very simple lines and refined stones to make subtle pieces that make a statement:

MARY BUCHAN – ROCHESTER, NEW YORK
Rochester’s own Mary Buchan is a recent addition to the JOOLZ family and we’re delighted that she is carving out some time to make some gorgeous necklaces for us. Mary finds most of her stones in out of the way shops in NYC, searching out good prices but not sacrificing quality. She also works with gold vermeil findings when many other artists are using silver. We currently have Mary Buchan necklaces made with howlite, purple jasper, and rose quartz, among other stones. No pictures yet, but those of you who know Mary will know that her work is a class act.
There’s lots more to share with you, but you’ll have to come into the store to see it all. Remember that our prices start around $15 and go on up – and we have a wide range of styles from very traditional to very contemporary, with lots in between. We’ll gift wrap for you (our signature glossy white box with a black grosgrain ribbon) and can ship throughout the US in time for Christmas.
